Man jumps from roof, lands in hospital
The Daily Courier

PRESCOTT - A man who police said was under the influence of drugs jumped from the roof of the Depot Marketplace shopping center Saturday and suffered a head injury and injured leg, according to a police report.

Police arriving at the shopping center about 9:30 a.m. found a man on the ground, bleeding from the head, the report said. He told police that people had been chasing him, and pointed to several passing vehicles in the parking lot, saying they were the ones.

"There were no signs of anyone actually chasing (him)," the report said.

A witness said he'd seen the man jump from the roof of the building between Walgreen's and Albertson's, the report said. Police believe he landed on his feet and then fell, injuring his head.

The man denied using drugs, the report said.

He was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center. Police discovered he had an outstanding warrant from Maricopa County.

Well,Why Flown to Flagstaff,
YRMC IS NOT a Trauma Hospital. If you are upset about that perhaps you can move where there is one. Then you can complain about all the helicopters flying to your local hospital.
Have a nice day and keep your feet on the ground.

Why are we reading that yet another injured person is FLOWN to an out of area hospital? Is our hospital so poor that every injury has to be farmed out to another hospital, costing a fortune in air transport fees? WHY and WHO pays for this service?

Yes, waiting to hear from all you rehab haters. One busted loose from the local rehab houses. I know all the local police departments, hospitals and other institutions are happy these people are in rehab. Think about it.

Article comment by: So does this guy have insurance!! !!

And my insurance is probably paying for him. Yep it is the socialized medicine that I have WITHOUT the ACA.

Today I pay higher rates so nut cases like this can be uninsured BUT still get service. Socialized medicine? My God where have you been TP?
