As part of a Google news archive partnership project many of our older printed editions have been scanned using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. You can use simple keywords to search for past stories and then view the scanned newspaper pages on your computer as if they were on a microfilm reader. It is easy and provides be a convenient way to find historical information.
HELPFUL HINT: In the LOCATION field you should place the word "Prescott" if you want to search the Courier even when it published under different names. You may also have better results if you also leave the SOURCE field blank. Try increasing the results to 100 to view more listings.
HELPFUL HINT: On these browse screens use the drop-down menu on the left that says SHOW and pull down to DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR or DECADE to get closer to the edition you are looking for. Not all editions are scanned.
