Fundraiser, sweat-raiser: Captain CrossFit salutes Hotshots
The Granite Mountain Hotshots were a youthful bunch, with as much energy as a college football team. Many of them would warm up before their shifts at the Prescott Fire Department Station No. 7 with an intense workout at Captain CrossFit, just across Sixth Street. And some would return after a shift, to work out again.

U.S. sends a clear message to ISIS
HOLLYWOOD - Happy Tuesday, everybody, and God Bless America.

The Pentagon stepped up the bombing of the ISIS terrorist army in Iraq Friday following a video of an ISIS jihadist beheading a U.S. journalist. It reflected White House anger. The bombing mission was a clear message to ISIS never to interrupt the president's vacation again.

Korean visitors remember the 'forgotten war'
The camaraderie was much in evidence at Prescott's Plaza Bonita restaurant this past Thursday when a contingent of six Koreans from Los Angeles were on hand to present Ambassador of Peace medals earned by 40 qualifying members of the local H. Edward Reeves Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association.
